About TSG Minneapolis Editor Kerry Ciardelli
Kerry Ciardelli, a lifelong entrepreneur and self-taught interior designer, is a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Having inherited her mother’s creativity, drive, and eye for quality goods, Kerry opened Victory Home & Interiors in 2003. Located in the charming neighborhood of Linden Hills near Lake Harriet in Minneapolis, this enchanting store and design studio reflected Kerry’s love of history, travel, fashion, art, and design. Kerry’s success as a small business owner, as well as her passion for supporting her fellow entrepreneurs, led her to bring The Scout Guide to Minneapolis.
Kerry’s Three Favorite Reasons to Visit Minneapolis:
- The Seasons: “We have four distinct and dramatic seasons. With lush summers, colorful autumns, snowy winters, and beautiful springtimes, Minneapolitans (as we call ourselves) love getting outside and enjoying our abundant city lakes and parks, no matter what the weather.”
- Our Unique Mix of Arts, Culture, and Food. “TSG Minneapolis would have to be hundreds of pages long to capture all of the incredible art galleries, museums, theaters, restaurants, cafes, and bakeries that make this city such an interesting place to live, work in, and visit.”
- The Neighborhoods. “Often called ‘the new Brooklyn,’ Minneapolis is a collection of unique and charming neighborhoods such as Linden Hills, Tangletown, and the North Loop. Thanks to the energy, creativity, and enthusiasm of local retailers, restaurateurs, artisans, makers, and entrepreneurs, each neighborhood has a unique character and a strong sense of community.
