Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis Takes Nordic Village to New Heights This Winter

Not many can say they’ve enjoyed the rustic charm of a cabin in the heart of a sprawling city. Well, come this winter, you can. Again.

For the second year in a row, Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is bringing the cabin out of the woods and into the city with Nordic Village, a one-of-a-kind pool deck turned cozy chalet experience complete with beautiful views, mountain lodge vibes, and a touch of luxury glamping.

General Manager, Florian Riedel shares, “At Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis, we love winter, and we love bringing people together. Nordic Village is a shining example of this.” And shine it will with this year’s expansion on the already wildly successful event. We’re talking more cabins, bigger cabins that can seat up to 8 guests, a longer season, and many new activities and experiences.

Style And Charm

Cozy up in your own personal heated festive haven, uniquely designed by MartinPatrick3, an internationally recognized boutique, for a 4-course meal that will once again include velvety onion soup, indulgent cheese fondue, and gooey s’mores shaped like what else, the state of Minnesota. After dinner, order cocktails and maybe a little caviar to enjoy as you watch your favorite holiday classic or set the mood to music with personalized Spotify accounts. And for those who love stargazing, relax and gaze through your cabin’s alluring  skylight.

Enhancing the hygge is cedar + stone, your guide in all things Nordic sauna. Their team passionately believes that a sauna is one of the best experiences in the north, and they’re bringing the heat to Four Seasons as they also expand their spa and wellness program. Outside the fitness center, there will be two new saunas thoughtfully designed, the only way cedar + stone knows how. And starting in November 2023 they’ll be offering guided sauna experiences seven days a week.

Shop And Be Merry

No festive event is complete without a little shopping. On the weekends, Market Curator Mich Berthiaume will transform the cabins into The Nordic Village Market, open to residents, guests, and community members. These endearing pop-up shops will house a unique range of products by local artists including kids’ toys, clothing, spices, home décor, jewelry, and more. So, whether you’re just putting together your gift-giving list, you’re halfway there or you’re patting yourself on the back for a job well done, you’re sure to find something(s) that symbolizes the spirit of the season.

Special Offers To Extend Your Stay (And The Fun)

If an overnight stay downtown Minneapolis is on your Christmas list this year, starting October 2nd, Four Seasons is revealing reservations for Nordic Village and seasonal offers for hotel bookings (suites include a bottle of Dom Pérignon!) This way you can make your downtown experience a multi-day affair. Be sure to secure a deal on Tock, then gather your cutest cold weather attire for Nordic Village…best winter weekend ever.

Both Nordic culture and Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis place great value on community and bringing people together, which is one of the reasons why this stand-alone event has received the acclaim that it has. Sprinkle in robust Minnesotans who have an admiral approach to winter – as in they get out there and take in all it has to offer – Nordic Village at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
