WELCOME: TWISTED PINK!

Since 2014, Twisted Pink has led efforts providing better access to care for people living with metastatic breast cancer through advocacy and educational programs about metastatic breast cancer. They have been at the forefront of over 3 million dollars supporting metastatic breast cancer research!

Meet the Founder and Executive Director: Caroline Johnson

Caroline is a wife and mother of three.  Her youngest and only son, Michael, was born in 2005. They left the hospital believing they had a healthy baby with a suggestion to have a repeat hearing test.  That test would begin their lifelong journey in the world of “special needs”.  Michael was later diagnosed with a rare genetic deletion that caused him to have developmental delays, Autism, Epilepsy and communication disorders.  Caroline quickly began advocating for him by traveling the U.S. searching for treatment options and finding educational tools they would need to help him meet his full potential.

Fast forward to June 2013, after finding a lump in her left breast, Caroline received the devastating news that she had breast cancer.  Using her experience she gained from advocating for her son, she quickly went on a quest to save HER own life!…ENTER Twisted Pink!
