Sweetest Days of Summer in Winchester!

Summer is sweeter in Winchester

Dessert before dinner? Yes, please! Come to downtown Winchester from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 14, for ice cream, balloon animals, the mellow sound stylings of a barbershop quartet and more. The
Sweetest Days of Summer ice cream social event is presented by Winchester First and everyone is invited.

In addition to ice cream food trucks, there will be an Ice Cream Scavenger Hunt downtown for a free ice cream coupon to be redeemed during the event, plus drink specials offered at participating restaurants.

Have your ice cream and eat it too before grabbing dinner at one of downtown’s locally-owned restaurants
: La Trattoria, Lucky Dog Café, Engine House Pizza & Pub, Loma’s at the Opera Houseand Smokin’ Howards.

Afterward, set up your lawn chairs by the Courthouse for live music from 7 to 9 p.m. by the Dooley Gang, all seasoned musicians whose music crosses multiple genres—rock, country, blues and R&B—and featuring former members of the Renfro Valley house band, a founding member of The Exiles and a former touring and recording member of J.D. Crowe’s band.
