MEET TSG ATLANTA!
Did you know THE SCOUT GUIDE (TSG) is a national publication?! Yes. When you become a TSG member you not only have one dedicated local staff promoting and advocating for you and your business…you have over 60 other editors across the country focused on cross promotion of our amazing local business owners…exposure you will not find anywhere else!
This is Katie Newton owner/editor of THE SCOUT GUIDE ATLANTA. Katie recently launched Volume 8, which you can VIEW HERE!
Born and raised in Atlanta, Katie has always loved her dynamic and vibrant city (minus the traffic!), where she lives with her husband, two girls, and 112-pound lab named Rascal. Katie adores her TSG Atlanta clients and showcasing the wonderful stories behind their businesses. She describes herself as a coffee aficionado, a bacon aficionado, and an anglophile, and she considers buzzing around Atlanta to her favorite local shops is her exercise.
KATIE’S THREE FAVORITE REASONS TO VISIT ATLANTA, GEORGIA:
The Outdoor Spaces. “Visitors—particularly in the spring and fall—should go to Piedmont Park or the Botanical Gardens, especially when the flowers are blooming. Biking the BeltLine to Ponce City Market for lunch or strolling through Oakland Cemetery, an enormous historic cemetery nearby, are also great outdoor activities.”
The Architecture. “The area surrounding Oakland Cemetery has lovely renovated Victorian homes that are worth checking out. Out-of-towners should also take a drive through Buckhead and peruse the beautiful old Reed and Shutze-designed mansions built in the 1920’s.”
The Game-Watching Opportunities. “I would definitely recommend that visitors plan to attend an Atlanta United Game at the new Mercedes Benz Stadium.”
