Last week, The Scout Guide New Orleans Editor Taylor Morgan hosted a stylish party to celebrate the debut of The Scout Guide New Orleans, Volume 6 at the home of interior designer Shaun Smith. TSG members and friends were greeted on the red carpet with the signature New Orleans champagne cocktail, the French 75, provided by Arnaud’s Restaurant. Smith’s Jeep Wagoneer staged with the newly released yellow-and-navy guide (inspired by the New Orleans Municipal flag in honor of the city’s 300-year anniversary) served as a centerpiece at the entrance.
After having their photos taken, guests retreated to the pool gardens for wine and champagne provided by Moët Hennessy; Sazeracs from The Sazerac Company for bourbon connoisseurs; fried oysters, fried collard greens with brie, and gourmet grilled cheeses created by Patti Constantin, Designs in Catering. Inside, Constantin’s stunning tablescapes complimented the beautiful interiors of Shaun Smith’s home.
