Meet Marlin Gill, MD of ElàMar

TSG: Dr. Gill, how many years have you been in business?
Dr. Marlin Gill: ElàMar has been in existence for eight years, but I’ve been a medical doctor for many more years than I’d like to say (wink.)
TSG: What inspired you to start your own business?
Dr. Marlin Gill: I went to London for a training experience years ago. While there, one of the world’s best injectors transformed a beautiful women’s face to make her look ten years younger. Right then I knew I had to be in aesthetics.
TSG: What is unique about your business?
Dr. Marlin Gill: We provide our clients the highest quality aesthetics services in relaxed, friendly, beautiful, and non-clinical surroundings.
TSG: When you’re not working, you’re …
Dr. Marlin Gill: Being with family – my wife Elaine, sons Austin & Grant, and our puppy Darcy.
TSG: What is your favorite thing about Huntsville?
Dr. Marlin Gill: North Alabama has four seasons to enjoy throughout the year, is located where we have easy access to many cities and attractions, and great people.
TSG: Do you have any hobbies? Tell us all about them!
Dr. Marlin Gill: I’m a snow skier who dreams of the mountains year-round. Nothing is more freeing and thrilling than cruising down those runs when the sun is shining.
TSG: What are your words to live by?
Dr. Marlin Gill: No NEWC’s allowed (negatives, excuses, whining, complaining).
TSG: What do you never leave home without?
Dr. Marlin Gill: My pocket knife (always be prepared).
TSG: Who is your hero and why?
Dr. Marlin Gill: Ronald Reagan. His positivity, class, and leadership literally changed the world.
TSG: What did you want to be when you grew up?
Dr. Marlin Gill: Always a doctor from when I was a small child. I thought my family doctor growing up was the coolest.
TSG: Is there anything else you want us to share?
Dr. Marlin Gill: The world of aesthetics has changed dramatically in the past decade. We now have the ability to refresh a person’s appearance and make them look younger and more beautiful without surgery most of the time. These fantastic products and techniques combined with the opportunity to provide clients with an equally amazing experience make ElàMar amazing!
