5. BAR/BREWERY — Straight to Ale, Fractal Brewing, & Green Bus

Straight to Ale

Monkeynaut IPA is Straight to Ale’s flagship beer—Albert. Able. Gordo. Miss Baker. Bonny. Goliath. Between 1948 and 1961 these primate pioneers and others bravely went where no man had ever gone before, paving the way for manned U.S. spaceflight. This hoppy little monkey of a beer is a tribute to those Simian heroes of yesteryear. It has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, a strong malt body and a crisp finish.

Straight to Ale

They told us to also try the Bistro Burger—1/2 pound fresh Angus beef, thick-cut bacon, cheddar cheese, kosher pickles, crispy buttermilk onion straws, with a signature bistro sauce is a favorite of patrons!

Fractal Brewing

The Guava Mango Sour—Like a Jackson Pollock painting for your taste buds! Crazy different ingredients that combine in an infinitely complex, remarkably refreshing way.

Fractal Brewing

Time Taker Pilsener—A classic German-style lager expressing beer in its most basic form. This beer is crisp and beautifully clear. Fractal told us this is best enjoyed as a slow-pour in a Fractal Pilsener glass!

Fractal Brewing

We love that Fractal Brewing Project has an outdoor space designed with spread-out entertainment in mind!

Green Bus Brewing

Green Bus Brewing is beer and then some! Jenna says try the Blackberry seltzer—it’s delish!

6. BAKERY/SWEETS — The Moon Bake Shop & Sweet Thyme Bakery

The Moon Bake Shop

Cookie Cake— The Moon Bakeshop told us these are becoming extremely popular! They use classic chocolate chip cookie dough and decorate beautifully with all-butter buttercream. Customers have said it’s the best cookie cake they’ve ever had!

Cruffin—Croissant dough shaped into a muffin, rolled in sugar, and filled with housemade pastry cream! The croissant dough is a three-day process to make, and full of European high-fat butter!

Sweet Thyme Bakery

Earl grey and blackberry scones with citrus glaze is a proven popular treat!
