April 20 @ 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm

MidCity District’s 4th Annual Crawfish Festival returns in 2024

The fourth annual festival benefits ‘Kids to Love’ with authentic Cajun cuisine and live music in the Tennessee Valley

HUNTSVILLE, AL – MidCity District is hosting the Fourth Annual Crawfish Festival on Saturday, April 20, 2024, with over 10,000 lbs of crawfish, live musical performances, a kid’s play area, local vendors, food trucks, and dining and shopping across the District from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

MidCity District and Octo Hospitality bring the Crawfish Festival back to North Alabama as a way to celebrate community, live music, delicious Cajun cuisine, and more. This year, a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit local non-profit Kids to Love. “At Kids to Love we have a wide variety of programs to help children in foster care, from birth to graduation and beyond,” said Kids to Love Founder and CEO, Lee Marshall. “We couldn’t serve our kids the way we do without the generosity of the community we live in, and we love that MidCity District is joining our system of support that helps children in their greatest moments of need.”

MidCity District is excited to welcome a team of Louisiana chefs who will be transporting the fresh crawfish to boil on site. ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT crawfish wristbands are available! In addition, guests will be able to purchase individual Crawfish platters which will include 2 lbs of boiled crawfish, one potato, one corn, and sausage. More Cajun dishes and a variety of food options will be available for purchase from vendors, tenants, and food trucks.

In addition to great cuisine, MidCity is bringing a bigger live music lineup than previous years. Yonder Mountain String Band will headline, with special guests Hot 8 Brass Band, Admiral Phunk, Pat Jamar, and more. Live music begins at 12:00 pm and will go all day.
