Thanks to fabulous customer service and stylish retail experts, our local boutiques offer an unmatched shopping experience. Read on for some of our favorite places to shop in town. Quattro Tizi (Dairy Market, 946 Grady Avenue). An upscale urban, contemporary men’s and women’s clothing and lifestyle store, they’ve curated pieces that are fashion forward without being too trendy, so you’re able to wear your picks for years to come.
Eloise (505 West Main Street). This unique boutique carries a highly-curated selection of items —from breezy tops and perfect dresses to killer accessories and covetable denim—that guarantee one-of-a-kind, head-turning  purchases perfect for just about any occasion.
Scarpa (2114 Barracks Road). A stylish shop offering a wonderful collection of high-end women’s fashion, accessories, and beauty products. Be careful, it’s easy to find yourself spending an entire afternoon here.
Rhoback. You will see locals and students alike donning the telltale Rhodesian Ridgeback logo. Founded by Darden grads, this homegrown, online only shop makes high-quality performance clothing.Their polos and q-zips are the perfect option for a day of activity (especially a round of golf!).

Posh Gordonsville (107 South Main Street, Gordonsville). Posh offers an artistically inspired collection of clothing, jewelry, and accessories by combining “art-to-wear” from regional and U.S. artisans and designers. Posh is the shopper’s superlative experience! Colors, styles, and textures gleam as you explore and you cannot escape your creative desires to find the perfect ensemble.

Gillian Valentine (203 South Main Street). Gillian Valentine is an approachable lifestyle brand focusing on sleepwear and loungewear with a curation of home-goods, décor and apothecary. Their signature pieces are made in the USA, so you can relax knowing you’re wearing quality clothing.

Derriere de Soie (605 West Main Street). In search of high-quality lingerie, loungewear, and custom-fitted bras? Find it hard to find a bra that truly fits? Then this is your place. Carrying lines such as Simone Perele, Panache, and Chantelle, shop owner Megan Giltner will ensure you leave this lovely establishment on Main Street with just what you need.
Jean Theory (101 West Water Street). A denim-focused women’s store carrying all the top designers, as well as a collection of well-curated pre-owned jeans. Pop in for an assist on finding the perfect fit.
Poshabilities (2030 Bond Street). A women’s boutique specializing in brands like Lilly Pulitzer, Gretchen Scott, Jude Connally, and Jack Rogers.
Alton Lane (112 Fourth Street Northeast, Upper Floor). Custom made men’s clothing store located on the downtown mall. Every piece is tailored to the customer to ensure the perfect fit. We love Alton Lane’s idea of “modern bespoke” clothing. Because the pieces are custom made, they’re always comfortable and beautiful without seeming overly fussy.
Division Road (3612 Rolling Road). Division Road is a luxury heritage menswear boutique providing enduring footwear, apparel and accessories online and in-store. Make sure to visit their flagship in Scottsville for the opportunity to test out their gear in The Fields. Division Road provides a unique, personalized, and immersive retail experience like no other.


Natalie Dressed (1051 Millmont Street). Natalie Dressed specializes in consignment clothing, shoes, and accessories. Whether you are looking for high-end pieces or wardrobe staples, Natalie Dressed’s selection always comes through. Co-Owners, Cheryl & Cara, are adding new items to their racks every day so be sure to stop in frequently.
Agents in Style (103 5th Street SE – NEW LOCATION opening July 5th!). Agents in Style is a luxury boutique that carries new and consigned designer, luxury, and high-end clothing and accessories. They also offer styling services, closet audits, and personal shopping, making them the perfect stop for fashion lovers.
Darling Boutique (115 First Street South). Darling Boutique is a curated women’s store offering consignment clothing, shoes and accessories, as well as handmade local artisan goods. In addition to their consignment pieces, we love their commitment to supporting and selling local artisanal products.
Arsenic & Old Lace (105 First Street South). This carefully curated boutique carries artisan goods, true vintage clothing, shoes, and accessories. Plus, you can score some pretty great vinyl.


Well Room (134 Tenth Street Northwest). Our favorite place to shop clean beauty and wellness goodies. Owner Megan Kingdon has curated the perfect collection of top-of-the-line brands for all concerns—from anti-aging serums and gut health supplements, to energy tonics and adaptogens. While you’re there stocking your beauty cabinet don’t forget to replenish with one of their IV infusions or aesthetic services, relax in an infrared sauna, or get a healthy glow with a natural spray tan.
Nua Medical Spa (600 Peter Jefferson Parkway STE 270). Nua Medical Spa is a cosmetic dermatology practice led by board certified dermatologists and physician assistants and an award-winning staff specializing in rejuvenation services and customized care for over twenty years. Founded by Dr. Anna Magee of Charlottesville Dermatology, Nua ensures customized care that will leave you feeling refreshed, restored, comfortable, and confident, the best version of yourself.

Chance & Co. (675 Peter Jefferson Parkway). As a cutting-edge female plastic surgeon in Charlottesville, VA, Dr. Elizabeth Chance has elevated the art of subtle but dramatic facial rejuvenation. Her approach is tailored to each patient’s needs and desires, and she is committed to delivering natural-looking and age-defying results. The Brow House (722 Preston Avenue Suite 106). The Brow House specializes in helping your create beautiful brows, and also offers gentle waxing, lashes and skin care services. Owner Brooke Fossett is dedicated to providing waxing services that are professional, comfortable, and enjoyable. Don’t forget to check out their curated product selection while you’re in!


Be Just (2415 Ivy Road, Suite 120). A thoughtfully curated collection of everyday objects for the home centered on utility, form, and beauty. Owner Shawn Cossette, of Beehive Events, brings her keen design eye and appreciation for all things elevated to this perfectly put together Belmont oasis. Pro tip: Their plant room in the back of the shop is an urban oasis where you’re sure to fall in love with your next plant baby.
The Happy Cook (1107 B Emmet Street North). Our go-to for quality cookware, cutlery, and kitchen gadgets. Everything you could possibly need to outfit your kitchen and dining portfolio, from a Le Creuset French oven to a Wusthof knife set, can be found at this cheery Barracks Road staple.

Circa (1700 Allied Street). A vintage home goods and furniture store you could get lost in for an afternoon. You’ll be hard pressed not to discover some gems.
And George and Hasan’s Rugs (3465 Ivy Road). Just a short drive down scenic Ivy Road, this two-for-one shop features home furnishings, gifts, and antiquities curated by designer Jan Roden, as well as stunning handmade Turkish rugs from Hasan’s Rugs.

The Botanique & Co. (112 2nd Street NE). Home Essentials for sustainable living. A delightful shop located on the Downtown Mall offering refillery service, natural self-care & beauty products, indoor plants & garden essentials, eco-friendly toys & gifts, and zero-waste kitchen & bath products.

Kes Collections (online). Bright & beautiful rugs with the perfect fit! Best of all, each showstopping creation can be tailor made to your specifications.

Carpet Plus Flooring & Home (805 Preston Avenue). Whether it’s area rugs, carpet, hardwood, cork, bamboo, luxury vinyl tile, laminate, or another inspired solution, you will find it in the 4,000 square foot Carpet Plus personal-service showroom, conveniently located in downtown Charlottesville.

Reprotique (currently online. Opening soon in Crozet). Traditiona; Home Decor with a twist. Reprotique is a line of museum quality Fine Art Reproductions individually selected from art in private collection. All Reprotique pieces are produced on Archival Paper and Single Weave Linen Canvas using only Archival quality pigmented inks.

The Laurie Holladay Shop (123 South Main Street, Gordonsville). Lamp shades of every description, specialty lam & fixture services and a shop brimming with delightful gifts and treasures for her, him, littles and the home!

Cardinal Home Center (5221 Rockfish Gap Turnpike). With over 30 years of history in the community, Cardinal Home Center has the expertise and brands that help them provide comprehensive solutions to builders, contractors, and homeowners. Multiple convenient locations across Charlottesville, Crozet and Madison make Cardinal Home Center the perfect one-stop-shop for quality building supplies and sought-after brands.

Folly (2134 Barracks Road). A home furnishings store and interior design studio, co-owned by Victoria Pouncey and Beth Ann Kallen, specializing in livable luxury. Stop in to shop the interesting and unusual pieces that set Folly and their clients’ homes apart.

The Shade Shop (2125 Ivy Road). With two decades of fine lighting and home decor, carrying lamps and lamp shades from Gucci, Fermoie, and Bunny Williams, this is a hotspot of interior designers and the design obsessed. Other goodies include breathtaking coffee table books and seasonal decorations.

Heyday Antiques & Vintage (1747 Allied Street). Charlottesville’s newest antiques/vintage marketplace, selling Mid-Century modern, Farmhouse, Global-inspired, Industrial, Art Deco and more.
The Eternal Attic (2125 Ivy Road Suite 5B). Home consignments with a flair, from furniture, silver, and china, to jewelry, crystal, lamps and accessories. Located in Ivy Square near Foods of All Nations.
Joseph, Joseph & Joseph Antiques. A husband and wife duo that curates a beautiful mix of contemporary art and antiques from all over the world. You can peruse their wares online and then make an appointment to see them in person.
Poem (1229 Harris Street). Stop by this fun and funky showroom to tour owner Tate Pray’s custom furniture and housewares. From a perfectly crafted wooden spoon to a custom bed frame, the pieces at Poem can add artisanship to any room in your home.
Caspari (100 West Main Street). Located on the downtown mall, this is the go-to place for classic homewares and accessories. Some of our favorites items include their stunning paper goods, perfect for entertaining or hostess gifts.
Helen Storey Antiques (2123 Ivy Road, Suite B). Antiques with a playful, contemporary flair with a focus on antiques from Europe.
Kenny Ball Antiques (2125 Ivy Road). Kenny Ball Antiques has been a purveyor of 18th and 19th Century French, English, and Italian antiques since 1985 and has garnered a favorable reputation with top designers around the country.
Comer & Co. (2123 Ivy Road). Pop into this shop specializing in fine antiques and decorative arts, including an unrivaled inventory of authentic and highly decorative period antiques specializing in 18th and 19th Century English and Continental furnishings. Visit often as their inventory is ever changing.


Feast (416 West Main Street). Feed your Curiosity at Feast. Feast is not just a specialty foods market but a celebration of all things delicious. Fresh flavors, rare finds, and a fellowship of foodies are waiting to welcome you.

The Albemarle Angler (1129 Emmet Street North) Albemarle Angler is your go-to outdoor lifestyle outfitter and fly fishing guide in Charlottesville!

Play Henry (online). A pickleball paddle & lifestyle company founded by two Darden garduates, based in Charlottesville.

Charlottesville Aquatics (3275 Berkmar Drive). In addition to building award winning custom swimming pools, Charlottesville Aquatics also has a showroom selling high end hot tubs and game tables.

Annie Gould Gallery (109 South Main Street, Gordonsville). Established in 2017 by artist Annie Gould, the gallery features work from local artists as well as art from around the country, including paintings, jewelry, woodworks, photography, glass, sculpture, and textiles.

Tess & Co. Jewelers (111 S Faulconer St, Gordonsville). Tess & Co Jewelers is a premier jeweler in Gordonsville, VA offering a wide selection of beautifully crafted pieces, custom pieces, jewelry repairs, restorations, and more. All work is done on premises.

Stephanie Fishwick (Shop her Charlottesville studio by appointment).Stephanie Fishwick is an artist & calligrapher creating work for brands. special events, interiors and fine decoration. We are fortunate enough that she is based in Charlottesville and opens her studio by appointment to shop artwork, homewares, accessories, handmade boxes, stationery & more!

Hedge Fine Blooms (115 4th Street NE). As Charlottesville’s premier custom florist, Hedge Fine Blooms provides a diverse array of floral designs made with high quality blooms that are often locally sourced. Owner Karen Walker has more than a decade of arrangement experience, and is sure to provide you with a stunning floral presentation no matter the occasion.
Magpie Knits (111 W Main Street). Magpie Knits is a full-service yarn shop and needlework community with a large selection of beautiful yarns, needlepoint canvases, and notions. They also offer a variety of classes that cater to every level of knitter. If you have a love for yarn, this is the place for you!
Cavallo Gallery & Custom Framing (117 S Main Street Gordonsville). As an artist-owned and operated studio, Cavallo truly caters to the artistic needs of their clients. They provide a variety of framing services in addition to their stunning gallery, and each custom frame is handmade in studio. The second half of Cavallo is dedicated to art lovers, and is filled with artisan favorites and fun items that are sure to make your life more beautiful.

Shenanigans (601 West Main Street). A children’s toy store with a highly curated selection of creative and unique toys and games.
Green Bean Baby Boutique (2120 Barracks Road). For moms looking for an organic and eco-friendly children’s boutique, this Barracks Road store fits the bill. Animal Connection (933 Second Street Southeast). Located in IX Art Park, Animal Connection in your one-stop pets paradise. This well-stocked pet store is the perfect place to load up on holistic food, toys, and the most out-of-this-world treats, made in their very own in-house bakery for your furry friends. They also offer dog training, full-service grooming, and a self-service dog wash.

New Dominion Bookshop (404 East Main Street). At the oldest independent bookseller in Virginia, you’ll find a cozy space to browse and read. With over 20,000 books in stock you are sure to find what you’re looking for. Make sure to utilize the staff, as their book recommendations never miss the mark.
Bluebird & Co. (5792 Three Notched Road). Bluebird & Co is a community-minded retail partnership between Bluebird Books and Fancy & Nell clothing. Their book and gift selection has been lovingly curated by owners Flannery & Chelsea, making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for.
