Notice Something Different?

Over the past year, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about ways we can improve thescoutguide.com. As we like to say, the story that begins in our print guides continues online, and to better deliver on this promise, we’ve made some exciting updates.

As you can see, we’ve given our website a fresh look. We’ve also added new features that put our highly curated network right at your fingertips. The result is a website that connects you with inspiration and experts, allowing you to browse through our editorial features with ease, and to discover Scouted shops, services, and experts in just seconds thanks to our revamped Directory.

So what, exactly, has changed? We now present a steady stream of editorial pieces on our home page, and offer you the opportunity to browse stories by category, including Design & Decor, Entertaining, Style and Beauty, Travel, Living, and Celebrations. We’ve also created a Directory of Scouted businesses that can be searched by city, state, and guide, and filtered by category—which means you can find a florist in Aspen or architect in Birmingham in just a couple of clicks. Also of note: our city pages are now the entryway to every aspect of our Scouted locations, offering links to city-specific blogs and social media platforms maintained by our local editors, a digital edition of the city guide, information about the editor(s) and how to contact them, and more. Finally (if you’re on your phone you might have noticed this already), we made our site mobile-friendly, so you can peruse our network and enjoy our content while on-the-go.

We hope you enjoy these new features and our new look, and we’d love to hear your feedback. If there’s something you’re particularly pleased with or think we could keep improving upon, please send us a note!
