We’re always on the lookout for new finds, and that’s why we reached out to our finger-on-the-pulse The Scout Guide Dallas editor Ginna Wilbanks to find out what she’s really jazzed about these days. Here, she shares her current loves that include a super drinkable red wine, a soothing documentary, and her go-to and most gift-worthy earrings.

1. WHAT I’M LISTENING TO

Off The Gram Podcast
A long walk around the neighborhood while listening to a motivational podcast has become an almost daily routine for me. One of my current favorites is Off The Gram, which covers topics like how to live your best life, keep your finances healthy during the pandemic, and how to navigate the ever-changing landscape of social media.”

2. WHAT I’M COVETING

Vitamin C and Vitamin D Paintings by Carolyn Joe available at Maestri Gallery.

“Carolyn’s upbeat, joyful attitude shines through in her equally vibrant, playful work. I would love to have these hanging in my home—it’s hard not to smile when looking at her paintings! I highly recommend fellow Dallasites or visitors pay a visit to Maestri Gallery to view her works in person, or check them out on the Maestri website.”

3. WHAT I’M DRINKING

Fieldhouse Pinot Noir by Scout & Cellar
“Scout & Cellar’s clean-crafted wine includes no added chemicals, preservatives, or sugar. This clean, organic wine has been a huge hit all across the country and I am a big fan! Dallas, Texas-based Scout & Cellar independent wine consultant, Martha Griffin, introduced me to the Fieldhouse California Pinot Noir and it has quickly become a favorite.”

4. WHAT I’M GIFTING

Quatro Coin Earrings available at Talulah & HESS.

Quatro Coin Earrings by Julie Vos at Talulah & HESS
“These are my absolute favorite, tried-and-true, most worn earrings. Numerous ‘where did you get those?’ questions from friends and comments on the cool antique coin design have led these to become my most gifted item for family members and friends. Julie Vos pieces look luxe and expensive, but have a really great price point. My go-to boutique, Talulah & HESS, is always stocked on the latest Julie Vos jewelry.”

5. WHAT I’M WEARING

Dondolo Adult Bow Face Mask
“Luxury children’s clothing company Dondolo is known for its absolutely beautiful, detail-oriented designs, and wonderful commitment to giving back to the community. I have eagerly been waiting to get my hands on a sought-after Dondolo Bow Face Mask. In the somewhat overwhelming sea of face mask choices, I love how this is truly a unique, one-of-a-kind accessory. The best part? For every face mask purchased, Dondolo will donate a face mask to a mother and/or child in their Give Back Community in Colombia.”

6. WHAT I’M DECORATING WITH

The Oxford Wreath available at Dunbar Road Design.

Dunbar Road Design Holiday Collection
The super talented and eternally chic Dunbar Road Design team has translated their signature interior design aesthetic into a curated line of wreaths and garlands inspired by their favorite luxury travel destinations—Charleston, Telluride, Palm Beach, and Oxford. I love that the high-quality materials transform these wreaths and garlands into long-lasting and treasured family heirlooms. Not to mention that each piece is gorgeous, which makes me want to have one in every room.”

7. WHAT I’M WATCHING

Our Planet and The Last Dance
“Despite the seemingly endless stream of new Netflix content, watching marathon reruns of happy shows like Friends and Modern Family has become a bit of a bad habit for me. I’ve found myself rewatching Our Planet before bed on especially stressful days. David Attenborough’s voice can soothe any anxious soul! If you are a sports fan, you can’t miss ESPN’s The Last Dance. I grew up in a big Chicago Bulls family, so getting to relive the glory days of Michael Jordan and the 90s Bulls was a very entertaining treat. It’s perfect for watching with your Thanksgiving crowd following some live football.”
