The Scouted Calendar / December 2015

December is a wonderful whirlwind of festive occasions, from holiday parties to tree lightings to intimate gatherings with family and friends. Whether we’re seeking a creative outlet, a place to experience a winter wonderland, or holiday shopping events that celebrate supporting local vendors, our Scouted cities have so much to offer throughout the month; here are some of the events we’re looking forward to:

Aspen, Colorado

Kids are encouraged to get creative at “Create Your Own Lift Ticket,” a workshop offered throughout the season—including a session at 2:30 on December 23—by the Aspen Art Museum and Aspen Skiing Company, who have been collaborating since 2005 to bring contemporary art to the slopes by commissioning artists to produce works used on lift tickets for the winter season. {Find additional local recommendations for what to do and see in Aspen HERE.}
