Where are you from?
How did you arrive at TSG?
I picked up TSG Charlottesville, Volume 8 at a local business in town while visiting, fell in love with what I saw, and applied to an opening that night! My love for small towns had me wanting to come back to Charlottesville after graduating from UVA in 2016—The Scout Guide was the perfect excuse.
What’s on your desk?
Always multiple to-do lists, a Corkcicle tumbler, my favorite coffee mug, edamame, and a jar of crunchy peanut butter.
Words to live by?
Work hard, be kind to others, and stay true to yourself.
Favorite vacation destination?
Copenhagen, Denmark, which is THE happiest place on earth! (Sorry, Disney World.)
Favorite movie and/or song?
Something Borrowed (Rotten Tomatoes is crazy for giving it a 15% rating). Because I Said So is a strong second.
What’s in your bag?
Three tubes of Smith’s lip gloss, cash (yes, I still carry cash), Stride sweet mint gum, and a pack of almonds—always (my friends will forever make fun of me for this).
Best part about working at TSG?
The creative minds I’m surrounded by and the endless recommendations for all things food, beauty, and fashion. What more could a girl want?! Also, Susie and her animal stories never fail to entertain the sales room!
What’s your TSG obsession?
Just one?! I would love to visit Chattanooga and meet Billy and Rodney—I actually had heard of their store, Revival, before coming to work at The Scout Guide. Chattanooga has always sparked my interest, and I almost accepted a job there post-graduation! Also, Oxford Exchange in Tampa Bay is a must-see!
