When did you start working at TSG?
June 30, 2017.
What do you do at TSG HQ?
Cheer on the designers, craft check ads, correspond with the printer to ensure a smooth printing and book delivery process, create production schedules, coordinate with account managers, and work with Editors as their new volumes come to life!
Where are you from?
Roanoke, Virginia. I currently live in Richmond, Virginia—#commuter.
How did you arrive at TSG?
My good friend, Amber, texted me a link and a picture of the Savannah book and said, “I love this publication! Flipping through one now and decided to look to see if they are hiring anything I could apply for, they aren’t but they are hiring a Production Manager and it describes exactly what you do. You should apply!” I applied, and ta da!
What’s on your desk?
A mug from Mill Mountain Coffee and Tea (my favorite local coffee house from back home) filled with pens, my Anthropologie coffee mug for actual coffee drinking, a handmade clay vase I got in Ireland filled with lavender, a notebook, an Erin Condren agenda, my handmade painted clay water tumbler made by a local artisan in Richmond, and papers galore!
Words to live by?
“For you never grow old and you never stand still.”
Favorite vacation destination?
Everywhere and anywhere—love to travel and soak up new cities and towns!
High Society with Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby, and Frank Sinatra.
What’s in your bag?
A book, a small notebook, a hair tie (or ten), a pen, random coupons I’ll probably never use and end up throwing away. A smaller purse with my wallet, another pen, and a Scout Guide koozie. Depending on the time of day, my laptop will be in there, too.
Best part about working at TSG?
The genuine kindness, happiness, and amazingly diligent, organized, and devoted team here at HQ and our Editors near and far.
What’s your TSG obsession?
Currently, it’s the chair in the Gregg Irby Gallery ad in TSG Atlanta, Vol. 5. My living room told me it needs that chair in it!
