I recently came across a picture of Paolo that got me thinking….
What, exactly, is pet gelato?
I’m extremely familiar with people gelato. One vacation to Italy and I consider myself an expert. But pet gelato? I doubt my dog Benny even tastes his food; he just swallows it whole.
After diving further into the matter of pet gelato, I learned a few interesting facts about Paolo. Most relevant being that, before his Gelato Life, Paolo was a veterinarian.
Yes, back in Italy, Paolo earned a degree from the University of Parma in Surgical Veterinarian Science. Hmmmm. Never would have pegged Paolo for a vet, until I saw the picture that advertised pet gelato. Now it all makes sense.
He has created a sugar-free, soy-based gelato specifically for our four-legged buddies.
So maybe Benny and I can bond over more than loving the beach and lazy Sundays…perhaps we’ll share a cone of creamy goodness!
