Clean and Bright: 10 White Kitchens We Love

In a room like the kitchen, which gets a lot of traffic and must constantly function at a high level, making design decisions that maintain a sense of calm is important. And while some might consider an all-white kitchen too obvious or over-done, we can all agree why it’s a classic. As the above kitchen by Greenwich, Connecticut-based Pimlico Interiors proves, when done right and with an eye for detail, the palette is anything but boring, allowing architectural details to shine and a sometimes-chaotic space to seem like an orderly oasis.

With a kitchen as stylish as the one above (and also featured below) by Dallas-based Coats Homes, why would you want to spend time anywhere else? A mix of gleaming elements, industrial touches, and warm wood accents—plus a stellar leafy view—it marries form and function and highlights the room’s attributes to stunning effect.

Virginia Beach-based KDW Home has created a gorgeous kitchen above, which boasts subtle texture on every surface. Among our favorite details are the hexagonal tile, the banded globe pendants, and the glass-front cabinets revealing the owners’ beautiful blue pieces.

Lovely natural light, exposed beams, wide-plank floors, and bright white cabinetry come together in this kitchen by Atlanta’s Trewin Homes. We love how the space is punctuated by industrial pendants, which draw the eye up and pair perfectly with the counter chairs.

Charleston’s Barrow Building Group remodeled the above historic 1913 home, and the results are stunning (see more images here). The clean palette lets the room’s character shine, and allows the more than 100-year-old space feel decidedly of this era.We love how the black lanterns make a statement among the soft white and grey tile, cararra countertops, and white shaker-style cabinets in the above space by Minneapolis’s Martha O’Hara Interiors. It’s truly a kitchen that will stand the test of time.

Here, Wayne, Pennsylvania-based Wein Interiors creates a kitchen that is clean, cool, and classic. We can just imagine sipping a glass of wine at the spacious island after a long day.

Stunning lighting, a clean palette, and plenty of texture combine in the above kitchen by Atlanta’s Susan B. Bozeman Designs. While the colors are soothing and cool, the thoughtful details make the area feel so personal and inviting.

The sparkling white kitchen above by Montclair, New Jersey-based Elizabeth Vizzone Interiors blends seamlessly with the dining area and seating area beyond. Clean and modern, functional and reflective, it’s a stylish iteration of the classic look.
